The new version includes enhancements to provide more automation, tools, and capabilities for edgeConnect insurance carrier clients. The primary goal of the new 5.1 capabilities is to make it even easier and more cost-efficient for carriers to utilize edgeConnect's tools to configure and manage optimal front-end user experiences for all, regardless of the user type, device used, or language preference.
edgeConnect 5.1 puts even more power and opportunity into a carrier's hands to help them to extend back-end systems to online and mobile, access new distribution channels and markets, and quickly configure the branding for any group of supported users.
With the focus on increasing speed to market and reducing delivery costs, new capabilities provided with edgeConnect Version 5.1 include:
- Enterprise themes which provide the ability to create designs/themes and share them across the organization to more easily re-use user experiences, ensure consistency throughout the enterprise, and support simplified re-branding;
- Dynamic components allow greater flexibility in re-using components for easier and quicker user experience development, deployment and maintenance;;
- Advanced integration techniques to automatically facilitate the re-import of web services integration changes resulting from the inevitable and continual user experience screen modifications; and, the
- Ability to automatically compare existing and new project files (user experiences, screens, processes, and integrations) to easily identify changes, further simplifying ongoing user experience development and support.
