Fireman's Fund appointed Donna Favata-Bosh senior product director for the healthcare product lines within its proessional liability business. She will oversee product management of allied health, medical facilities and senior living business areas.
Denise Perlman has been appointed director of business development of Markel Specialty, a division of Markel Corp. She will manage national account agency relationships with bank-owned agencies in the United States as well as regional and national agencies. Markel also named Chris Reichert as its managing director of sales and marketing within its Markel Specialty division. His focus will be Markel Specialty's growing business with retail agencies.
Gail Sheepway has been appointed Specialty Products' Canada business lead by Zurich. She will oversee growth in Canada related to Specialty Products' Special Business Unit.
Ironshore Inc. announced two new appointments. Peter Harper succeeds Mitchel Blaser as global chief financial officer and Meg Drago has been named global head of human resources, a title she previously held with MasterCard Worldwide.
Ken Fetterman has been named senior account executive with Neace Lukens. He will join Neace Lukens' senior living team, which oversees nursing home offerings.

Burns & Wilcox acquired W.C. Mills Insurance of Salt Lake City, which will expand the company's international transportation business.
The Hilb Group completed its acquisition of MDM Convenant Insurance, which has offices in Nashville and Atlanta.

Applied System will release Epic 7 in the first quarter of 2013. This marks the first time that the Epic system will enter the Canadian market. Epic serves more than 500 agencies and 17,000 users.
