Aon appointed Steve McGill group president. He will oversee the development of Aon's overall growth strategy and opportunity planning, focused on the firm's risk solutions segment, including Aon Risk Solutions and Aon Benfield. McGill, who joined Aon 7 years ago, will maintain his role as chairman and chief executive officer at Aon Risk Solutions (read PC360's full story on McGill).

The National Insurance Producer Registry (NIPR) board of directors elected Roger Sevigny as its president. Sevigny will replace Linda Hall, who is retiring at the end of June. Currently he is the New Hampshire Insurance Commissioner and president of the National Assn. of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC).

MarshBerry named Rob Lieblein executive vice president. He will oversee financial consulting, M&A advisory and business planning. Prior to joining MarshBerry, Lieblein was a partner at Dowling Hales.

Endurance Risk Solutions' financial and professional lines operation in New York City hired John Muller as vice president. Muller will develop lawyers professional and miscellaneous professional liability retail business. Prior, Muller was a senior production specialist with Lexington Insurance Co., underwriting diverse professional liability covers.

Kuykendall Gardner Risk and Insurance Brokers hired Brendan Loflin as vice president. He will oversee insurance and bond sales, new business development, client relations and client maintenance. Prior, Loflin served as a senior contracts negotiator at Lockheed Martin.

Utica Mutual Insurance Co. named John M. Anderson and Steven E. Herman vice president and assistant vice president, respectively. Anderson currently serves as director of alternate markets development and Herman serves as associate general counsel in Utica National's legal department.

OneBeacon Insurance Group named Joseph M. Treacy vice president of auto workers compensation underwriting and Royanna G. Carle business development manager for OneBeacon Government Risks (read PC360's recent article on OneBeacon Insurance Group).

Wells Fargo Insurance hired Ken Fraser to lead the risk management and international insurance practice for the company and the Wells Fargo Global Broker Network. He will develop a national strategy to drive business within the risk management segment. Prior, Fraser spent 26 years with Marsh (read PC360's recent article on Wells Fargo).

The New York City chapter of the International Assn. of Insurance Professionals awarded Christine Chipurnoi the Helen M. Garvin Outstanding Achiever Award. Chipurnoi is senior vice president at Wells Fargo. The award recognizes women who demonstrate leadership, professionalism and service to the insurance industry. Recently, Chipurnoi also became the first female president of the Insurance Brokers' Assn. of the State of New York (IBANY).

Zurich announced SWBC will be program administer writing excess flood policies for Zurich nationwide. Policies will provide coverage above the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) and will cover homes and businesses inside and outside FEMA's designated flood zone areas.

Fulcrum Insurance Programs announced a new property programavailable in 46 states (all except New York, Alaska, Maine and New Hampshire). The product is supported by an A XV rated, non-admitted carrier. It targets hotels (limited and full service, upscale, resorts and historic properties), offices and retail buildings, light industrial buildings, condominiums, non-frame apartment buildings, and mixed-use complexes. Coverage includes equipment breakdown, demolition and increased cost of construction, custom green upgrade coverage, limited earthquake and flood coverage, mold/fungus, no coinsurance, and actual loss sustained on business income. The Arbella Insurance Foundation raised $20,600 to sponsor 2 days of outreach for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's Mammography Van, a mobile program that provides screening mammograms and breast health education to eligible women in Massachusetts. Arbella employees raised this money at the company's most recent “Pink Day” event. Staff raised $10,300, which was then matched by the company.

The National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research introduced 3 new specialty risk management seminars. Each 8-hour course is taught by a practicing risk management professional. The new classes are organizational efficiency in public risk management, bullying prevention: solutions for schools, and secure houses of worship.
