USI Insurance Services and Hub International recently announced acquisitions in Illinois and Canada.

USI acquired Euclid Insurance Retail property and casualty and employee benefits division from Euclid Insurance Services.

Formed in 1952, Euclid, based in Itasca, Ill., operates health and life general agency and a commercial managing general agency through Euclid Managers. Euclid will retain those properties. Also unaffected is their Euclid Insurance Agencies in Melbourne, Fla.

USI says it expects the acquired business to contribute more than $7 million in revenue to USI.

Hub International says it acquired Bettinson Insurance Group of Oakville, Ontario, Canada.

Bettinson is a commercial insurance broker specializing in arranging coverage for the aviation industry.

It will become part of HKMB Hub International Ltd.

Terms of both transactions were not released.
