Who says reports on the P&C industry don't invite great, visual storytelling?

OK, maybe I said it, once or twice, in my first week on the job.

But it's simply not true—and this issue's cover feature on the Classic & Collectible Car niche proves that.

Even if you're not a car fanatic, you simply have to appreciate just how eye-catching these vehicles are. They're like sculptural works of art, and their owners treat them with the same degree of white-glove care as a museum curator would use with a Rembrandt.

Just look at that beautiful, baby-blue 1954 Chevrolet Bel-Air on the cover—the owner's agent and insurer should take a lot of professional satisfaction in knowing they are helping to protect such a treasure.

And in the story itself—the second installment of our in-depth guides to specific lines of insurance—you can admire a dozen more of these four- (and two-) wheeled masterpieces.

In addition to all the photos, digital subscribers can watch a video we filmed with Jill Bookman, CEO of American Collectors, and one of her insureds—the proud owner of a jealousy-inducing 1963 Corvette (you can also view it online: http://www.propertycasualty360.com/video).

The video provides an overview of the key coverage issues any agent or broker should be aware of within the Classic & Collectible Car niche. But equally important, it also gives us a chance for an entertaining 360-degree tour of this head-turner—and we get to see it in motion.

Because our reporting for this feature netted such a wealth of images, I thought I'd share a few more here.

And I'd like to encourage others with camera-ready coverages to reach out to us and insist upon a story. We'll come for a visit with our pens and notebooks—and our photographer and videographer.
