Cindy M. Webster, president and CEO of Jack Rice Insurance, LLC in Largo, has been named the Florida Association of Insurance Agents’ (FAIA) 2011–2012 chairman of the board. Her one-year term starts on September 1.

Webster’s insurance career began in 1974 with AIM Insurance Agency in Clearwater, where she rose to vice president and principal before joining the Jack Rice Agency in 1990. In addition to her activities with FAIA, she is a past president of the Pinellas Association of Independent Agents board and has served at the state level on several committees.

FAIA President and CEO Jeff Grady says, “She will serve her fellow agents in Florida and at the national level with great distinction, bringing to the table her incredible business and insurance acumen.”

FAIA is the oldest and largest insurance organization of any type in Florida. It represents 2,000 independent property and casualty agency locations, employing close to 18,000 licensees.
