Homeowners Choice, Inc. has named company founder Paresh Patel as CEO. Patel succeeds Frank McCahill, who served as CEO since the company began operations in 2007. During that time Patel was chairman of the board, a role he expects to continue. McCahill announced his plans to resign in April.
Homeowners Choice is a Florida-based insurance holding company headquartered in Clearwater. Through its subsidiary corporations it provides property & casualty homeowners' insurance, condominium owners' insurance and tenants' insurance to 61,000 policyholders throughout Florida.
