Itasca, Ill.-based insurance broker Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. says it has acquired Mortgage Insurance Agency, Ltd. in Crystal Lake, Ill.
Terms of the transaction were not released.
Founded in 1993, Mortgage Insurance is a retail insurance broker providing commercial property and casualty and risk management services to their clients throughout the United States. They specialize in state licensed surety bonds, errors and omissions, and fidelity bond coverages for their mortgage broker and mortgage banker clients nationally.
David J. Jackson, the principal, and his associates, approximately 20 employees, will continue to operate at their current location under the direction of Thomas J. Gallagher, Midwest regional manager of Gallagher’s retail P&C brokerage operation.
