Columbus, Ohio-based insurance brokerage group Assurex Global said it has opened a new regional headquarters in London.
The office will be directed by Assurex Global's director of Europe/Middle East/Africa Region, Antoinette Gambonini.
The group said the move further advances its efforts in international business development. The office will work with Assurex Global Partners as they manage the insurance, risk management and benefits services of clients operating in the EMEA region and beyond.
In addition, the company said the office will enable Assurex Global to work closely with insurance companies located in London.
Ms. Gambonini's background includes more than 20 years with Barney & Barney, the Assurex Global Partner in San Diego. Assurex said during her career, she has managed commercial insurance accounts, researched new technology systems and managed teams of servicing staff, and been involved with international business.
She will report to John Rodwell, the network's vice president of International Business Development.
