After announcing plans to integrate its suite of technology products under one brand, Vertafore, the provider of the agency management system AMS and related products, unveiled two new software developments during the 33rd annual AMS Users Group Conference in Washington, D.C.
The Bothell, Wash.-based software and services provider to the insurance industry last week released an integrated version of its ClientConnect and BenefitPoint products.
The company said the new program "provides employers with a self-service web portal to review policies and benefits, and to search for network providers." It also allows employees to view and compare benefit plans and find answers to frequently asked questions in one place.
Insurance agencies, the firm said, will also be able to launch multiple customized client sites and access risk management and compliance information in real time.
The company also released ReferenceConect offering resource information.
During the conference, Vertafore's President and Chief Executive Officer Euan Menzies announced plans to integrate its technology products under one umbrella while at the same time recognizing the individual need of different size agencies.
Vertafore is the producer of AMS agency management systems AMS 360 and Sagitta; content and workflow products ImageRight; SilverPlume Sage and PL rating; Sircon's Compliance Express and Producer manager, along with other technology products.
