Cottonwood, Minn.-based North Star Mutual Insurance Company is the latest independent agent carrier company to join the Trusted Choice brand movement.
Founded over 90 years ago, North Star Mutual provides insurance protection for homes, farms, automobiles and businesses throughout most of the Midwest.
North Star marks the 54th company to join the Trusted Choice brand campaign.
Terry Timm, senior vice president at North Star Mutual, said in a prepared statement, “Trusted Choice is a natural extension of the promise we make to customers to provide outstanding insurance protection and excellent personal service.”
Trusted Choice was founded in 2001 by the Alexandria, Va.-based Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America and several independent agency companies to showcase the benefits independent agents and brokerage firms offer to consumers. The campaign today includes more than 10,400 independent insurance agents and brokerage firms.
