Connective Technologies announced a marketing alliance with Rural Computing Consultants (RCC) for providing TEAM-UP Download and Translation Solutions to the Midwest's mutual insurance marketplace. Connective and RCC already are in production with this strategic alliance at Farmers Mutual Relief and Woodville Mutual, both mutual insurance companies domiciled in Ohio. The TEAM-UP solution provides once-and-done processing in an industry-compliant, data-secure environment for agency downloads.

"Agency download is one of the top challenges facing both carriers and agencies today," says Kevin F. Sheehan, executive vice president of RCC. "The power of seamlessly integrating our contemporary technologies and providing the value-added service of making it easier to do business for our carrier clients with their respective independent agencies is what sold me on this alliance. Our client engagement team also was impressed with the turnkey approach of implementing TEAM-UP Solutions--and obtaining a production environment, from project initiation to full rollout to all agencies, within just a couple of months."

TEAM-UP Download is an Internet-secure offering being leveraged by more than 50 P&C carriers in providing accessibility to upwards of 20,000 communicating agency pairs using more than 40 different agency management systems throughout every region in the United States. Improved features such as single-policy, real-time archival retrievals by the agents, better group management distribution, and tracking features that ease and accelerate the registration process for both agencies and carriers have been implemented with TEAM-UP's service-oriented architecture.
