Conning Introduces ERM Software

Conning Research and Consulting has launched an enterprise risk management initiative for P&C insurers, which includes the release of its Affirm software.

According to Conning, Affirm and the enterprise risk management process build on Conning's expertise in the insurance industry, and company-level modeling, forecasting, and analysis.

“This unique ERM solution achieves the dual objectives of allowing management to stress-test its annual business plan and provide simplified ERM on a true calendar/accident year basis,” said Tom McIntyre, director at Conning Research & Consulting, in a release. “Our resulting ERM software model, Affirm, captures the benefits of ERM in a practical system that reduces resource requirements and eliminates steep learning curves.”
