The Property Casualty Insurers Association of America (PCI) has announced a re-designed Web site which it says provides “insight, advocacy and information on the most important issues facing consumers and the insurance industry.

According to June Holmes, interim CEO for Des Plaines, Ill.-based PCI, the site, located at www.pciaa.net/sitehome.nsf/main, has “dynamic content areas specifically designed to provide a more 'active' feel to the page user.”

Ms. Holmes' statement said the site is a good source for consumers, lawmakers, media, insurance industry executives and employees.

Users can navigate the site via drop down menus featuring site content headings and automatic Really Simple Syndication (RSS) feeds for news releases, said PCI. This allows visitors to find detailed information on issues ranging from auto insurance to workers' compensation.

PCI counts more than 1,000 member companies and the organization reports its members write over $194 billion in annual premium–40.1 percent of the nation's property-casualty insurance.
