Two annual captive conferences will be held in Arizona this year. In March the Captive Insurance Companies Association (CICA) meets and the Arizona Captive Insurance Association (AzCIA) meets there in May.
Themed "Take Control of Your Own Destiny," the AzCIA conference will have captive expert Andrew Barile as keynote speaker, May 15-17, in Phoenix at the Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa.
AzCIA said it expects more than 200 persons to attend its conference, half from Arizona and half from other areas of the United States.
The conference includes educational sessions and opportunities for networking, including a private captive owners' roundtable luncheon.

CICA's 2007 Annual International Conference is scheduled for March 11-13 in Tucson at the Westin LaPaloma.
