WASHINGTON–The Reinsurance Association of America announced yesterday that it will join the Optional Federal Charter Coalition.
“The RAA is a significant addition to the Optional Federal Charter Coalition,” the group said in a statement. “Their participation will be a major asset as the OFCC works toward enactment of an optional federal insurance charter.”
The OFCC's trade group members now include the American Insurance Association, the Council of Insurance Agents and Brokers, Agents for Change, American Bankers Association, the American Bankers Insurance Association, the American Council of Life Insurers, the Financial Services Forum, the Financial Services Roundtable, and the Life Insurers Council.
