The Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America said Acadia Insurance Company is the latest insurance carrier to join Trusted Choice, the independent insurance agent and broker branding program.
“We are true believers in the independent agency system, and [we] expect the affiliation with Trusted Choice will be significant to our distribution force and their policyholders,” said Bill Thornton, president of Acadia Insurance, a subsidiary of Greenwich, Conn.-based W.R. Berkley Co.
Robert A. Rusbuldt, chief executive officer of the Alexandria, Va.-based IIABA said. “Acadia Insurance Company is well respected, and is 100 percent committed to its distribution force. Acadia understands the importance of branding its distribution force, and it is ready to roll up its sleeves and work to take advantage of the benefits of Trusted Choice to its distribution force and consumers.”
