Emily Crane is the new manager of media relations for the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America. In this role, Crane will serve as an information resource for trade and consumer print media on all non-legislative issues. Additionally, she will be the communication liaison for various IIABA programs, including Invest, Best Practices and Trusted Choice.
Crane comes to the association from Campbell-Crane and Associates, a lobbying firm in Washington, D.C., where she coordinated the firm's fund-raising activities, provided legislative research on economic and health-care issues, and gave logistical support to clients including the American Burn Association, the Chubb Group, Raytheon, Merck & Co., and others.
