Risk Managers Ask: What Am I Worth?
The results of the "2003 Risk Management Salary Survey"–conducted by the field's leading headhunter, Logic Associates Inc.–will be published exclusively in National Underwriter as the cover story of the "Corporate Insurance Buyers Report" on April 7.
In addition to the 15,000 corporate insurance buyers who subscribe to NU, the issue will also receive bonus distribution at the Risk and Insurance Management Society's annual conference, taking place in Chicago, April 6-10.
The survey is designed to help risk managers determine their value in the market. It provides average salary and bonus totals by state, industry sector and company size.
Also included is a look at the functions risk managers perform, the size of risk management departments, and any special benefits provided (such as stock options, pensions or company cars) broken down by sales volume.
The cover story will include an exclusive interview with Bill Perry, president of Logic Associates Inc. in New York, who will analyze the survey's results and the implications for risk managers in the short- and long-term job market.
