Hub Adds Agency in Kentucky
NU Online News Service, April 2, 12:50 p.m. EST – Chicago-based insurance broker Hub International Ltd., announced the acquisition of the insurance agency Wilson & McPherson Inc., based in Madisonville, Ky.
The agency will join Hub Midwest, which has existing offices in western Kentucky.
Terms of the agreement were not released.
The agency, with revenues of approximately $500,000, was founded in 1867. It serves primarily mid-size commercial clients and will remain in Madisonville. Layne Smith, its president, will continue as a producer and account manager.
