McCarty Confirmed In Florida Director's Post
NU Online News Service, March 25, 2:24 p.m. EST?Kevin McCarty has been confirmed by the Florida Financial Services Commission as director of the state's new Office of Insurance Regulation.
Mr. McCarty has over 10 years experience in insurance regulation and has served as deputy insurance commissioner. He is the first person to serve in the new post.
Last year, Florida lawmakers restructured regulation of financial services departments, creating a Department of Financial Services which includes the appointed post of director of insurance regulation.
