Gallagher Acquires Calif. Benefits Firm
NU Online News Service, March 14, 10:22 a.m. EST? Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. has acquired Benefits Planning & Insurance Agency Inc. (BPI) of Larkspur, Calif.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed, the Itasca, Ill.-based insurance broker said.
Located in Northern California, BPI is an employee benefit brokerage operation. Arthur J. Gallagher said the firm offers benefit consultation and brokerage services that include strategic planning, financial analysis, legislative compliance and employee communication support. It was founded in 1978
Michael Michalski, Michael Stallone, Victor Deksnys and Robert Christadore, along with their BPI associates, will continue to operate from their current offices under the direction of James Durkin, President of Gallagher Benefit Services.
