Critical Trends Impacting Auto Insurers – What They Mean to Your Business Now and in the Future
Date: Thursday, November 15, 2012
Time: 1pm ET | 10am PT
Several macroeconomic, market and legislative trends continue to have a significant impact on automotive insurance carriers. Such developments are affecting how insurance providers will interact with their customers, and how these trends can potentially impact your business if not adequately understood and planned for. Such trends include:
- The Automotive Physical Damage Economy: After several years of decline, average repairable appraisal values are rising to near pre-recession levels. This webinar will describe why, and show, on the other hand, how repairable estimate volumes may not see a rebound until the year 2020 – or beyond.
- Influential Legislation: New state legislation involving auto estimates and replacement parts will dictate how insurers and repairers alike may have to alter their practices to stay in compliance. This webinar will review some of these new regulations and discuss some that are on the horizon.
- The Customer as King: Never before has the consumer had so much access to information – and the power to easily change insurance carriers if they are not treated to their liking. This webinar will describe how enabling transparent, self-managed claims by keeping vehicle owners empowered and informed throughout the repair process is the new frontier for maintaining their satisfaction.
This webinar will guide participants through these topics, providing high-level overviews that will help enable you to “make the trend your friend.” The webinar will be presented by experienced industry veterans who will also answer questions from the event participants.
