Winners Announced for the Commercial Agency Awards for Excellence

New York, NY.  October 16, 2012National Underwriter Property & Casualty and American Agent & Broker have announced the 11th Annual Commercial Agency Awards for Excellence winners.

The program recognizes a “Commercial Insurance Agency of the Year,” as well as “Awards for Excellence” in four categories.  The 2012 winners are:

The winners are profiled in the Oct. 1/8 edition of National Underwriter Property & Casualty, in the upcoming November issue of American Agent & Broker, and on PropertyCasualty360.com.  

“The 2012 winners were true risk managers for their clients,” said Bryant Rousseau, group editorial director of National Underwriter Property & Casualty. “They emphasized that personal service and technology were crucial in helping clients control their cost of risk.” 

Independent agencies entered the award program by completing an extensive application and providing an essay describing their unique approaches and success stories.  National Underwriter Property & Casualty and American Agent & Broker editors chose the finalists, and individual winners were determined by an outside panel of independent judges from leading insurance groups.
