WSIA education program expands

Access to high-quality education programs was a valuable benefit of membership in both the AAMGA and NAPSLO. With the merger of the two organizations into the Wholesale & Specialty Insurance Association, that benefit has expanded with a slate of offerings that is comprehensive and provides quality professional education for members in a variety of roles and in all phases of their careers in the wholesale, specialty and surplus lines industry.

“The education program is an area in which the creation of WSIA results in an expansion of options for members,” said Brenda (Ballard) Austenfeld, Education Committee co-chair and president, National Property Practice, RT Specialty. “By combining the existing offerings of both associations into WSIA we have education programs for just about any need you would find within a member firm, small or large, and the programs are developed specifically for surplus lines professionals, so the takeaways are immediately applicable when you return to your office.”
