Willis Towers Watson has appointed Joe Peiser as head of broking, North America, part of its corporate risk and broking segment.

Peiser will be responsible for the company’s broking strategy in North America and will continue in his current role as head of casualty broking, where he oversees the company’s casualty portfolio of workers compensation, primary and excess casualty, product recall, and international casualty business.

“Joe is a proven leader with outstanding credibility in the marketplace. We’re confident he can help us execute our broking strategy, which is aimed at expanding the power of capital to protect organizations while driving successful outcomes for clients,” Mike Liss, North America head of corporate risk and broking, said in a statement.

New York-based Peiser joined Willis Towers Watson in 2014, bringing over 30 years of insurance industry expertise. Before joining the company, he served as president of Wright Specialty Insurance Agency, a full-service managing general agency.
