New York City-based Starr Cos. said it has appointed Dorian Grey president of its Latin America sivision. Based in Miami, Grey joins Starr from American International Group.

Austin, Texas-based Combined Agents of America LLC said it has named Peter Cross, CPCU, CIC, ARM, chief executive officer. Cross, who has more than 25 years of industry experience, will report directly to CAA’s board. He joins from ARM Risk Solutions, where he was managing director.
