People on the move in the P&C insurance industry: March 4, 2016

Nashville, Tenn.-based Alternative Service Concepts, a third-party claims administration services provider, said it has promoted Matt Stickelmaier to national sales director from national account executive. He joined the company in 2011.

Washington, D.C.-based product liability consulting firm KCIC said it has promoted Michelle Potter to vice president from senior manager, and Carrie Scott to vice president from senior manager. Potter joined the firm in 2010 and Scott joined in 2012.

Bermuda-based global specialist insurer Hiscox has appointed Sean Hearden vice president and head of financial services. He joins from Chubb Specialty Insurance, and is based in Chicago.

Andreas Kleiner has been named president and CEO of Amelia, Ohio-based American Modern Insurance Group, a subsidiary of Munich Re, effective May 1. Kleiner succeeds Manny Rios, who left the position in August. He most recently served as chief executive officer of Munich Reinsurance Co. of Africa Ltd.

Kansas City, Mo.-based insurance broker Lockton Cos. said it has appointed Jeff Purdy to lead its government contracting practice in Washington, D.C. He joins from Computer Sciences Corp.

The Washington, D.C.-based Certified Automotive Parts Association announced the election of Ivania Palacios Konieczka, vice president of personal insurance claims at Liberty Mutual Insurance, to its board of directors.

Swiss insurance provider Zurich Insurance Group said it has appointed Brian Winters head of customer, distribution and market management for its Global Corporate division in North America. Most recently, Winters was head of casualty at Zurich Global Corporate in North America and led Zurich’s domestic, excess and international casualty operations as well as its strategic risk solutions functions.
