Applied Systems announces new product launches, software enhancements

At its Applied Net Conference, software provider Applied Systems announced the introduction of IVANS Market Appetite, a search engine for P&C insurance agencies to identify carriers’ interest for specific risks. IVANS Insurance Solutions is a divsion of Applied Systems, and provides technology for carrier-agency-MGA information exchange.

The software allows agents to see a list of U.S. insurance carriers ranked by market appetite at the moment of opportunity. The company says it improves productivity by reducing the time spent on the traditional ways of identifying carrier appetite, including referencing carrier risk guides, access carrier websites, search enginges, historical agent experience or directly contracting underwriters on an individual basis.
