Industry Moves to Have Courts Vacate Disparate Impact Rule

The battle over a new federal regulation barring “disparate impact” in sale of homeowner’s insurance is moving to the courts.

The National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies and the American Insurance Association June 26 quietly asked a federal court to vacate the rule.
