To what do you attribute the positive ratings from your customers?
Bauer: “We are focused on creating value for each customer—from how we work with them, the expertise and technology that we bring, and in crafting solutions around their specific business needs. The NxTech team is committed to providing agent download and real time interface solutions to each customer that helps them grow their business and work more efficiently with their agents and that their agents ‘rave’ about.”

How do you communicate with your insurance carrier customers to meet their needs?
Bauer: “It’s simple, we talk to them often. Almost every customer we work with has come back to add to or expand their solutions. It is through that listening and sharing of ideas that our product set has grown through the years, introducing new uses for our core products, as well as creating new products.”

What are some of the positive developments your company has achieved in the past year to make your product stand out amid a crowded solution-provider market?
Bauer: “Interface is our business, so we look for ways to address industry and customer pain points, take current solutions to the next level, and help more carriers participate. Some of those focuses are:

  • AL3Expert and AL3Analyzer to increase efficiency and ensure carriers are current on standards and agency system differences at all times.
  • The ability within a real time rating submission based on a carrier’s underwriting and rating rules, to collect missing data from the agent, as well as make web service calls to third parties, and integrate that data in to the quote request from comparative raters or direct from GAs.
  • Commercial lines bridging success that saves thousands of keystrokes by eliminating rekeying of fleets and schedules.
