Doss will lead a team responsible for providing small business and consumer insurance solutions such as auto, home, renters, life and more. She will also continue to lead Wells Fargo's Life Insurance and Disability Management business.
Craig Wenzel was appointed senior vice president of capital markets for XL Group's reinsurance operations. He will manage and develop relationships with third party capital providers in support of XL's global underwriting activities.

Caldwell and Partners Inc. announced the acquisition of Midlands Holding Corp. from PMA Capital Corp. Midlands is a managing general agent and excess and surplus lines broker that also operates as a third party administrator. Caldwell originally founded Midlands in 1990 but sold it to PMA in 2007.
New Programs
The Chubb Group of Insurance Cos. expanded its definition of fraudulent communications with an endorsement to its ForeFront Security. The new Cyber Fraud Endorsement allows a bank to authenticate commercial customer instructions through text messaging, email and more. It will also help indemnify community banks from defense costs and direct damages arising out of such a lawsuit.

The partnership is the result of GAP's extensive growth and expansion effort. GAP is a partnership of 16 independent agencies combining knowledge and resources to provide consumers with comprehensive coverage.
Willis North America relocated its Cleveland, Ohio office as part of its strategy to continue to elevate its presence in the state and drive market growth. The company has a history in Ohio, beginning more than 30 years ago. The new facility will support Willis' retail insurance brokerage operations.
