A core component of the survey is the rating of carriers on the factors most important to producers. Producers were asked to rate only carriers with which they were familiar and only on factors that were important to them—therefore providing highly accurate data.
The top-rated carriers for each factor are shown (in alphabetical order), with the highest-rated carrier identified.
The factors were also ranked by their importance to producers on a nine-point scale: The “Factor Importance” column at right shows how each factor ranks in producers’ assessment of a carrier.
