Readers Rank Top 10 Insurance Logos

Back in March, we presented PC360 readers with a list of the best insurance logos. The 10 logos were listed in no particular order, and a poll at the end asked readers to vote for their favorite of the logos.

The poll is closed and the votes—over 6,000 of them—have been counted. Here is the ranking of the top 10 best insurance logos as selected by PC360 readers:

  1. Sentry Insurance – 26.7 percent
  2. Fireman’s Fund – 15.7 percent
  3. Travelers – 15.2 percent
  4. Zurich– 10.2 percent
  5. LibertyMutual – 8.8 percent
  6. Hartford– 7.4 percent
  7. USAA – 7.1 percent
  8. W.R. Berkley – 3.7 percent
  9. Tokio Marine – 3.3 percent
  10. Lloyd’s – 2 percent

Sentry Insurance was selected as the best logo with a total of 1,701 votes. At the bottom of the list is Lloyd’s simple text logo, which garnered 127 votes.

Readers also weighed in in the comments section with logos they felt should have been included in our top 10 list. Prudential’s “rock” was noted as being absent from the list, and we admittedly left it off intentionally—because Prudential is life insurance, not property and casualty.

Also missing was Allstate’s “good hands” logo, which we didn’t include on our list because we found the hands just a little creepy.
