Thad Bauer doesn’t mince words when asked why his company, NxTech, received a RAVE Award for agency connectivity.
“We deliver up-to-date technology solutions that work,” says Bauer, president, who leads the NxTech team along with CEO Bill Tedrick.
NxTech focuses on delivering business results and demonstrates a commitment to best-in-class agency-carrier-MGA interface solutions, which Bauer believes is the reason NxTech earned high marks from its customer base.
“We focus on understanding our customers’ objectives and bringing our years of experience to the table to provide a solid business result—both for our customers and their agents,” says Bauer. “The result is workflow that provides ease of business and reduced costs.”
Almost every customer NxTech works with has come back to expand their initial rollout, explains Bauer.
“We discuss their ideas and share our own,” he says.
The vendor’s product set has grown extensively through the years, continues Bauer, by introducing new uses for core solutions, as well as creating new products suited for the insurance industry.
“We not only understand the current landscape, but we’re leading change for how carriers and agents work together in the future,” says Bauer. “Combined with our strong customer and industry knowledge, this ensures that our products and services evolve and will carry the strategies of our customers forward.”
Change is important to NxTech, according to Bauer.
“We are always looking for ways to help the industry extend the reach to more players, make interface more affordable, and take current implementations to the next level,” he says.
Among the steps taken to improve the NxTech solutions are:
- Full roundtrip rating implementations for both personal and commercial lines, and for both standard and specialty markets.
- Incorporating web services for third-party underwriting data.
- Using technology and creating improved tools for download.
- Solutions for specialty insurers.
- Early implementations of MGA to retail agent download and real time.
