RIMS Connects with Visitors Using Mobile App

Busy RIMS 2012 attendees can “go mobile” for the event with an app for Apple, Android and BlackBerry products that provides access to all the convention’s resources.

The app lists all exhibitors along with company descriptions, downloadable marketing materials and booth locations with a floor map of the Exhibition Hall and the Pennsylvania Convention Center.

Gearheads can customize their schedules by adding events to a personal calendar and refresh it throughout the day by receiving alerts and event schedules.

For those who wish to connect via social media, the app enables users to read the #RIMS2012 Twitter feed, go to the conference’s LinkedIn page and even update photos to a live gallery.

Information on after-hours dining, attractions, hotels and transportation is also linked through the application.
