Itasca, Ill.-based insurance broker Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. said it has acquired Old Greenwich Consulting Group located in New York.
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Old Greenwich Consulting Group offers employee benefit consulting and brokerage services, including life insurance and group benefits, for their middle-market clients in the Eastern United States. The firm specializes in the design, service and implementation of employee benefit programs.
Michael Johnson, Old Greenwich principal, and eight associates will continue to operate in New York City under the direction of David Ziegler, Eastern regional executive vice president of Gallagher's employee benefit consulting and brokerage operations.
