Swantner& Gordon Insurance Agency has merged operations with Higginbotham & Assocs., both the largest insurance brokers in Texas. The combined firm has more than 500 professionals providing insurance, risk management and employee benefit solutions through 16 offices statewide.
The joining of Swantner & Gordon and Higginbotham will rank the firm as one of the largest independent insurance brokerage firms in Texas.
Higginbotham's employee benefits practice in Houston, led by Managing Director Beth Madison, will pool resources with Swantner & Gordon's property/casualty office in Houston, led by Partner Dudley Ray, to offer a single source solution for comprehensive insurance products and services.
