Grange Insurance announced that John Ammendola has joined the Ohio- based insurance provider as president of personal lines. In this role, he'll be responsible for the overall growth and profitability of the company's $870 million book of personal lines business, including product development, pricing, underwriting management, operations and loss control.
Ammendola joins Grange with 18 years of property and casualty insurance experience. Most recently, he served as senior vice president of sales and marketing for Unitrin Corp.'s Kemper Insurance division. He also has served in several executive-level positions at Safeco Insurance Co., including senior vice president of personal insurance.
