Ann Wehr Moves to WellCare

WellCare Health Plans, Inc., of Tampa has named Ann O. Wehr, M.D. to the post of chief medical officer. Dr. Wehr will lead the company's medical affairs initiatives and health policy strategy. Most recently, Dr. Wehr served as president and chief executive officer of Molina Healthcare of New Mexico. WellCare provides managed care services exclusively for government-sponsored health care programs, focusing on Medicaid and Medicare. www.wellcare.com.
