Zurich appoints Dalton head of Marine operations

Zurich has appointed Sean M. Dalton as head of North American Marine operations for Zurich's Global Corp. in North America business unit.

Dalton will be responsible for leading a strategic review of the marine portfolio and for developing the strategy to attain Zurich's growth aspirations for its Marine book of business. He will be based in Zurich Global Corp. in North America's New York office.

Prior to joining Zurich, Dalton spent seven years with Travelers Insurance Co., where he was vice president field underwriting operations in the Ocean Marine Division. Previously, he held Ocean Marine positions at Swiss Re and Atlantic Mutual Cos.
