HealthPlan Services of Tampa has appointed Michael Whitton to the position of chief financial officer. Prior to joining HPS, he served as senior vice president and CFO of New York Life's U.S. life insurance operations. He was also a member of the New York Life Insurance and Annuity Corp. board.
