Gerry O'Connor has been named 2010 president of RiskProNet International, a network of 24 independent insurance brokers in North America, it was announced.
Mr. O'Connor is senior vice president, commercial division of Indianapolis-based Old National Insurance. He has been a multiline broker in Indiana and the Midwest for 28 years with Old National Insurance and its predecessor firm, J. W. Flynn Company, RiskProNet said.
Mr. O'Connor and his firm were among the founding members of Menlo Park, Calif.-based RiskProNet in 1997.
"My goal for the coming year is to build on what we have created and to continue to strengthen our network," Mr. O'Connor said of his appointment.
