McCarty to Talk About State Farm

Florida Insurance Commissioner Kevin McCarty has scheduled a news conference today (Wednesday, Dec. 16) to provide what his office describes as an "update on the State Farm issues related to State Farm's plan to withdraw from the state of Florida." The conference is set for 11 a.m. in Room 116 of the J. Edwin Larson building in Tallahassee. There is no call-in phone number, according to OIR. The media advisory states that the office will post additional information following the press conference.
