Prepared Insurance Co. in Tampa has received a certificate of authority from the OIR to write homeowners' and dwelling fire insurance in Florida. According to President and CEO Douglas N. Raucy, the company will focus on "an underserved market in Florida, homes built prior to 2002," and market its products through the independent agency system.
