Ed Domansky has joined the Institute for Business & Home Safety (IBHS) as media relations manager. His primary responsibility will be to expand public awareness of IBHS's initiatives. Domansky brings with him nearly 25 years of experience in media relations, public relations, and communications. Most recently, he served as the director of communications for the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation.
IBHS is an independent, non-profit, applied scientific research and communications organization funded by property insurers and reinsurers. Based in Tampa, IBHS's mission is to reduce the social and economic effects of natural disasters and other property losses by conducting research and advocating for improved construction, maintenance, and preparation practices.
