NBIS launches Heavy Construction and Transport program

NationsBuilders Insurance Services (NBIS) launches a new Heavy Construction and Transport Insurance program, developed with Tower Group Cos., New York.

Kevin Cunningham, NBIS executive vice president, said the two firms have developed a multiline, risk management-based platform to better serve customers, agents and brokers.

NBIS specializes in insurance program administration for the heavy construction equipment and related transport industries and in the residential builders' and contractors' marketplace. It has operations in Atlanta, Baltimore, Chicago and San Diego.

Tower provides property-casualty insurance for a range of risks, from preferred to non-standard including excess and surplus lines.
