Travelers launches Web site for small-commercial umbrella policies
Travelers announced today the launch of Umbrella Wired, an online software program that simplifies the rate, quote and bind process for agents who offer small-commercial umbrella liability policies. The program presents multiple quote options simultaneously for a variety of umbrella limits, ranging from $1 million to $5 million. The program is accessed through Agent HQ (Travelers proprietary agency support system), thereby providing immediate access to account information on the Travelers system.

A.M. Best Co. announces online site for consumers
A.M. Best Co. launched Best's Consumer Insurance Information Center, an online resource designed to inform consumers about the various insurance options available to them, and to demonstrate the importance of an insurer's Best's Financial Strength Rating.
The center provides information on a variety of insurance coverages and enables users to search for an insurer and view its Best's Rating, locate state insurance department Web sites, and obtain other information.
